Introduction

This License Policy explains how Bookcicle, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) grants and governs licenses for any content, software, or tools made available through our website and services (“Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you (“you” or the “Licensee”) agree to be bound by the terms set out herein. This License Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.

1. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with our Terms of Service and this License Policy, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use materials, software, or other licensed content (collectively, “Licensed Materials”) solely for your personal or internal business purposes.

2. Restrictions

You shall not:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble Licensed Materials.
Redistribute, sublicense, or resell Licensed Materials to third parties.
Remove proprietary notices or labels from Licensed Materials.
Use Licensed Materials to create a competing product or service.

3. Ownership

All intellectual property rights in or related to the Licensed Materials remain the exclusive property of Bookcicle or its licensors. No title or ownership of any Licensed Materials is transferred to you by virtue of this License Policy.

4. Updates & Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any Licensed Materials at any time. This license terminates automatically if you fail to comply with any provision of this License Policy or our Terms of Service. Upon termination, you must destroy all copies of Licensed Materials in your possession or control.

5. No Warranties

THE LICENSED MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS,” AND BOOKCICLE DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BOOKCICLE IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS LICENSE POLICY OR THE USE OF ANY LICENSED MATERIALS.
